This is an awesome opportunity for anyone who loves Django and/or Python. I've been having tons of fun down here in Naples building all kinds of cool stuff.
We have a new opening for a Django/Python developer to help build our cool shit.
We just recently launched our Studio 55 Vodcast which has the industry buzzing because no local newspaper has really done something like that before.
Our parent company, Scripps, who owns HGTV, The Food Network and a bunch of other stuff, is planning on launching 15 Django/Python powered sites in the next year. So Django isn't just some experiment that Scripps is doing in Naples. It safe to say that you'll be programming in Python and Django for a long time.
Knowledge of Django is not a requirement. Basic Knowledge of Python is fine (as long as you're willing to learn more). All we ask is that you're awesome at writing code and live on caffeine.
If anyone is interested in joining our team shoot me an email (eamoritz@naplesnews.com). You'll have to move to Naples but who wouldn't, it's
beautiful here.
